Job Title: SEN Support - Complex Needs

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Support Specialist to join our team at EdEx. The successful candidate will provide individualized support to children with complex SEN/SEMH needs, working closely with teachers, SENCO, and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with complex SEN/SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
  • Assist teachers and SENCO in developing and implementing individualized education plans
  • Report feedback and information to class teachers and SENCO
  • Work collaboratively with support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate with strong academic qualifications (e.g. 1st Class degree/2:1)
  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH needs, including ASD, ADHD, SpLD
  • Strong knowledge of SEN, including legislation and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
