Deputy General Manager – Clayton Hotel Bristol

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for the position of Deputy General Manager at the Clayton Hotel Bristol.

This distinguished hotel features 255 guest accommodations, 7 conference rooms, and a 140-seat dining and bar area.

Role Objective

As the Deputy General Manager, you will report to and assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, while also inspiring and guiding the entire team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance to the General Manager regarding all hotel operations.
  • Directly manage department heads.
  • Ensure that all team members are consistently motivated and engaged to deliver outstanding service.
  • Succession Planning – Facilitate the growth and continuous development of hotel staff.
  • Guarantee the highest level of customer service within the establishment.
  • Assist in the financial performance and cost management of the hotel.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a Deputy or Operations Manager role within a large hotel setting.
  • Standards-oriented, particularly in Food & Beverage management.
  • A strong ambition to advance and develop your career in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience in leading and motivating teams.
  • Proven track record in nurturing talented employees.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable contributing to the overall hotel strategy.
  • Able to cultivate relationships and influence all levels of the organization.
