Assistant General Manager – Clayton Hotel Bristol

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an Assistant General Manager at the Clayton Hotel Bristol.

This exceptional hotel features 255 guest accommodations, 7 conference rooms, and a 140-seat dining and bar area.

Role Objective

In this role, you will report to and assist the General Manager, overseeing daily operations across all hotel departments while inspiring and guiding the entire team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance to the General Manager regarding all hotel functions.
  • Directly manage department heads.
  • Ensure staff are consistently motivated and engaged to deliver outstanding service.
  • Succession Planning – Lead the ongoing development and training of hotel personnel.
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service within the establishment.
  • Support the hotel's profitability and effective cost management.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a Deputy or Operations Manager role within a large hotel.
  • Driven by standards, particularly in Food & Beverage.
  • A strong ambition to advance and grow your career in the hospitality sector.
  • Experience in leading and motivating teams.
  • Proven track record in nurturing talented staff.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable contributing to the overall hotel strategy.
  • Able to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
