About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Waiter to join our F&B team at Farncombe Estate. As a Senior Waiter, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting our F&B Manager in leading our mission to provide outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and provide guidance to junior team members to ensure exceptional guest service standards are met
  • Work closely with the F&B Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Manage and maintain a high level of knowledge of our menu, wine list, and other F&B offerings to provide expert recommendations to guests
  • Ensure seamless service delivery during peak periods and special events
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new ideas and initiatives to enhance the guest experience
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant setting
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and leading a team to achieve high standards
  • Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and other beverages, with the ability to make expert recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
