As a Guest Engagement Coordinator, your role revolves around enhancing visitor interactions, inspiring them, and ensuring they have a memorable experience during their visit. If you enjoy engaging with diverse individuals and are passionate about the mission to preserve and nurture spaces where both people and nature can flourish, this position may be ideal for you.

This role is structured for 30 hours per week (4 full days).

Responsibilities will include duty management and working one weekend in four, on a rotating schedule, along with some bank holidays.

This is a fixed-term contract, expected to conclude when the current employee returns from their secondment.



Work Environment

Snowshill is a unique location, offering an extraordinary experience that stands apart from the ordinary. It is the unconventional residence of the imaginative Charles Wade, an architect and artist known for his eclectic collection that began at a young age. Wade infused his home with a sense of fun and creativity, filling it with an array of treasures gathered throughout his life. The Manor is set within a beautifully designed Arts and Crafts garden, featuring terraced garden rooms and even a model village, providing a picturesque backdrop for your work.

To reach this location, personal transportation is necessary, but this opportunity allows you to work at a distinctive property surrounded by stunning countryside.



Your Responsibilities

As a Guest Engagement Coordinator, your primary focus will be to deliver exceptional service to visitors. Collaborating with your team, you will welcome guests and inspire them to explore Snowshill Manor and Garden. This may involve planning and executing events and activities, as well as creating interpretive displays that bring the property and its narratives to life for all visitors. You will encourage guests to appreciate the artworks and valuable objects preserved by the Trust.

Your role may also include supervising and supporting volunteers, organizing schedules, and ensuring high standards of presentation on-site, as well as contributing to our web content.

You will participate in the duty management rota, working one in four weekends throughout the season.
