About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing activities that bring joy and stimulation to our residents.

With a background in working with vulnerable individuals, you will have a passion for developing activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.

As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment that promotes social interaction, independence, and a sense of community. Your creativity and resourcefulness will be essential in designing and delivering engaging activities that cater to different ages, abilities, and interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a range of activities that promote social interaction, independence, and a sense of community
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and activities
  • Contribute to the development of activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of residents
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained at all times
