About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Waiter to join our F&B team at Farncombe Estate. As a Senior Waiter, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and contributing to the success of our luxury hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and provide guidance to junior team members to ensure exceptional guest service standards are met.
  • Work closely with the F&B Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage high-pressure situations with poise and professionalism, ensuring that guests receive a 5-star experience.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, wine list, and beverage offerings to provide expert recommendations to guests.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and efficient food delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and driving sales growth.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails, with the ability to make expert recommendations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tables and priorities with ease.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
