Department & Role Overview:

The Compensation and Benefits Operations Expert will oversee and enhance Civica's compensation and benefits initiatives, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. This position calls for a meticulous and analytical individual with extensive knowledge in compensation and benefits management, exceptional communication abilities, and a strong dedication to improving employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Benefits Management: Oversee the daily administration of all employee benefits programs.
  • Claims Processing: Facilitate employee claims, coordinating with vendors for various insurance claims.
  • Compensation Programs: Manage and refine recognition and reward initiatives to ensure alignment with company goals and to effectively engage employees.
  • Job Structure Implementation: Spearhead the introduction of job architecture, including mapping and leveling, while educating the organization.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all compensation and benefits programs adhere to applicable laws and regulations, staying informed on legislative changes.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work with external benefits providers to manage contracts, resolve issues, and guarantee high-quality service delivery.
  • Employee Engagement: Create and disseminate clear and engaging communications regarding benefits and compensation programs, offering support to employees in understanding their options.
  • Data Management: Maintain precise records of participation and costs related to benefits and compensation programs. Analyze data to identify trends and assess program effectiveness.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation and benefits operations.
  • Annual Review Coordination: Organize and manage the annual benefits review process, including the development of communication materials and conducting informational sessions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular benchmarking studies to ensure Civica's compensation and benefits offerings remain competitive within the industry.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management or a related HR function.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing compensation and benefits programs.
  • Customer-centric with a strong sense of empathy and understanding.
  • Committed to enhancing employee satisfaction through effective compensation and benefits strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation management and benefits best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical abilities, utilizing data for informed decision-making.
  • Proficient in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
