About Into Film:
Into Film is a prominent charity dedicated to promoting film in educational settings and the community. We offer guidance on careers within the screen industry, support aspiring filmmakers, and integrate the art of storytelling through moving images into educational curricula.

We host the annual Into Film Festival, allowing over 400,000 students to experience cinema at no cost, and the Into Film Awards, which is a leading platform for showcasing young filmmaking talent.

Our core programs are provided free of charge to UK state schools, colleges, and youth organizations, thanks to the support of the BFI, National Lottery funding, and other key sponsors.

Role Overview:
The Creative Video Producer & Editor will be an integral member of the Into Film Production Team, responsible for capturing and editing video content for various platforms, including the Into Film website, training programs, social media, and other promotional materials as needed.

Due to the collaborative nature of this role, the position will primarily be based at our London office, with the possibility of remote work when feasible. Please note that occasional weekend work and travel across the UK may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Video Production Manager and Production Lead to plan, shoot, edit, and deliver video content for a variety of Into Film initiatives, including educational resources, events, and festivals.
2. Work closely with the Video Content Manager to enhance future content offerings.
3. Provide creative and technical insights in response to project briefs to ensure timely delivery of high-quality films.
4. Mentor the Production Officer in developing their skills in filming and editing.
5. Ensure all produced content adheres to compliance standards and is cleared for use.
6. Advise on safety protocols for productions and contribute to risk assessments.
7. Collaborate with the Production Lead and Video Content Manager to create inclusive content that reflects diversity and representation.
8. Uphold a commitment to quality in all interactions with the public, partners, and stakeholders.
9. Participate in long-term planning to align growth with demand and resources.
10. Engage in the ongoing evaluation of Into Film's initiatives.
11. Adhere to the principles of equality and diversity as outlined in Into Film's policies.
12. Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in filming and editing both short and long-form content.
- Proven experience in creating short-form content for social media platforms.
- Familiarity with rights clearance processes for audiovisual productions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and respond to feedback to meet audience needs.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including After Effects and Adobe Audition.
- Experience in producing content tailored for educational audiences.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office applications.
- A passion for and knowledge of film.

Additional Requirements:
All employees working closely with children and sensitive data are required to maintain enhanced DBS clearance, which will be facilitated by Into Film.
