Project Scheduling Officer

About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of a London-based council for a Project Scheduling Officer in the Housing and Adult Social Services department. You will be the primary interface between residents and the Council during cyclical and major works projects, ensuring effective communication and handling all resident enquiries and the scheduling of engineer visits on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to resident, colleague, and elected member enquiries scheduling the engineering department
  • Attend meetings to ensure staff and rotas are managed effectively
  • Develop and implement communication strategies for assigned projects.
  • Design, produce, and distribute communication materials.
  • Lead on stage 1 complaints and provide objective responses.
  • Build relationships with Tenant Management Organisations (TMOs) and Tenant and Resident Associations (TRAs).
  • Work closely with contractor's resident liaison officers.
  • Organise and manage customer satisfaction surveys and resident's meetings.
  • Handle legal actions to secure entry to domestic accommodation when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Previous scheduling experience ideally of engineers on major project works or similar
  • Previous strong administration
  • project management a bonus
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and creative.
  • Politically aware and professional.
