Milk Education is collaborating with a Primary Special School that focuses on children with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and is seeking to hire a Special Needs Support Assistant on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will work alongside our educators to implement innovative teaching strategies tailored to the unique educational requirements of each pupil, thereby enhancing their learning outcomes and personal development.

This institution is dedicated to creatively designing and customizing lessons to ensure that every individual’s needs are acknowledged and addressed.

It is essential that you take the initiative in fostering positive relationships with students and coordinating with the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCO) to achieve optimal results.

The position is set to commence at the earliest opportunity.

Experience in de-escalation and therapeutic methods to support students with diverse and complex needs is highly valued.

  • The responsibilities will encompass working with both individuals and small groups, aiding in the planning and execution of lessons in an engaging and supportive environment.
  • Participate in interventions both during and outside of lessons to encourage active involvement of students in the social, behavioral, and academic aspects of the school.
