Your Responsibilities

• Execute fund subscriptions, redemptions, and switches promptly, including Third Party Custody and Private Unit Trust orders.
• Independently comprehend and complete Hedge Fund subscription and Limited Partnership documentation.
• Monitor pending fund transactions, follow up on outstanding trades, and resolve settlement discrepancies with counterparties.
• Manage incoming and outgoing fund payments, providing precise payment instructions to the internal payment department.
• Address dealing-related inquiries swiftly and verify incoming orders to mitigate financial risk.
• Collaborate with cash reconciliation and trade processing teams to resolve any cash and stock discrepancies arising from Fund Execution orders, providing regular updates throughout.
• Ensure immediate attention is given to placement errors to prevent further loss and market exposure.
• Proactively manage client and stakeholder inquiries, maintaining high-quality and timely communication.
• Utilize departmental controls and procedures effectively, taking timely action to escalate potential issues.
• Propose ideas to save time and costs, reduce risks, and enhance service quality.
• Work collaboratively to foster a positive and supportive workplace environment.
• Prioritize tasks based on risk or deadlines and contribute to departmental and company initiatives and projects.
• Ensure all procedural documentation is current and stored appropriately.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Several years of experience in Fund Execution.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail in a fast-paced office setting.
• Proficient in analyzing and resolving issues with a solid understanding of operational risk.
• Proactive in managing your time effectively with the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.
• Open to feedback, adaptable to change, challenges existing processes, and consistently seeks improvement opportunities for both the team and self.
• Proficient in essential software, particularly Excel.
