Who We're Seeking

We are in search of a Reconciliations Analyst to become a part of our Wealth Management Operations Team. This role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy of custody and cash position data while ensuring thorough reconciliation, investigation, and resolution of discrepancies in cash and securities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of assigned portfolios, proactively investigating and promptly addressing inquiries from internal stakeholders, clients, counterparties, custodians, and administrators.
  • Conduct custody transaction and position reconciliations against internal records.
  • Manage daily cash and stock discrepancies by investigating differences and ensuring timely resolution with processing teams and custodians/administrators.
  • Perform reconciliation of outstanding OTC bilateral collateral and positions, ensuring alignment between internal and counterparty records.
  • Execute daily reconciliation of Treasury trade confirmations.
  • Request and validate statements of holdings and balances from custodians and fund transfer agents.
  • Update internal records with relevant transactions, including fees and income.
  • Effectively manage high volumes of work, prioritizing tasks based on risk and deadlines.
  • Proactively escalate potential issues before they escalate into risks.
  • Meet the needs of business partners and internal clients while assisting in the training of staff.
  • Provide specialized product knowledge and contribute to departmental and company initiatives.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Proficient in essential software, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in Banking or Asset Management with an understanding of the asset lifecycle is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build interpersonal relationships.
  • A collaborative team player capable of fostering strong working relationships with global internal departments and external partners.
  • Open to feedback and adaptable to change, consistently seeking improvement opportunities.
  • Able to guide the team through transitions while promoting an innovative culture.
