**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Visitor to join our team in NHS Dumfries and Galloway. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of children and families, as well as a good knowledge of Scotland's Public Health agenda.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Work in partnership with families, local authorities, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, evidence-based person-centred care.
  • Utilize a strengths-based approach to engage families and identify risks.
  • Coordinate complex plans of care for children and work collaboratively with other professionals.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to children and families.

**Requirements**

  • Current Specialist Community Public Health Nursing registration.
  • Experience of working with children and families in a public health setting.
  • Good knowledge of Scotland's Public Health agenda, including Getting it Right for Every Child, The Promise, and the Children and Young People's Act 2014.
  • Ability to work in partnership with families, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
