Accountant for Inventory Management and Revenue

We are seeking an experienced Inventory and Revenue Accountant to join our team at Parkside Recruitment. This role will be an integral part of our UK finance team for a mid-size pharmaceutical client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day financial activities related to inventory control and reporting of cost of sales.
- Prepare month-end accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, standard cost calculations, and meet audit and year-end statutory accounting requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Supply Chain team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA) with a relevant Finance or Accounting degree.
- Broad Finance and Accounting experience with operational business experience.
- Previous experience with inventory management and standard costing preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced level in MS Office packages, integrated accounting systems including SAP, and related transactional, report-generating software.
- Experience managing data (both batch control and financial) and proven ability to process high volumes of data rapidly.
- Understanding of good internal control and governance.
Person Specification:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to individuals with limited finance knowledge.
- Definitive financial advice and problem-solving skills.
