Inventory and Revenue Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Inventory and Revenue Accountant to join our team at Parkside Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management
- Responsible for the valuation and reconciliation of group inventories in line with IFRS requirements.
- Reviews and analyzes landed costs to ensure that inventory is valued accurately.
- Leads the financial audit in relation to stock checks and inventory reconciliation.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepares and reviews all reporting requirements related to inventory and cost of sales.
- Monthly inventory analysis (levels and changes).
- Manufacturing cost variance analysis.
- Cost Accounting
- Monthly update of standard costs in the bill of materials.
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
- Reconciliations and Controls
- Reconciliation of balance sheet for areas in scope, including inventory.
- Responsible for reconciliations and stock checks of components, WIP, semi-finished goods, and finished goods.
- Calculation of stock provisions.
- Education and Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA), preferably with a relevant Finance or Accounting degree.
- Broad Finance and Accounting experience with operational business experience.
- Technical Skills and Experience
- Advanced level in MS Office packages, integrated accounting systems including SAP, and related transactional, report-generating software.
- Proven ability to process high volumes of data rapidly and operate routine workflows and processes.
