About the Role

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Eastern Services is seeking a dedicated Specialty Doctor in Haematology to join our friendly and collaborative department at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. This is a substantive, part-time position.

Department Overview

We are a comprehensive haematology department encompassing all aspects of clinical practice. The post will primarily focus on outpatient activities within our busy haematology service.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a team of 8 consultants, an associate specialist, registrars, specialty doctors, core medical trainees, clinical nurse specialists, and advanced nurse practitioners to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the full range of haematology services, including malignant hematology, autologous stem cell transplantation, red cell disorders, and thrombosis/haemostasis management.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of clinical pathways.
