Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor in Haematology to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical and laboratory services to patients with haematological disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with consultants, associate specialists, registrars, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in educational programs and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Contribute to the development of the department's strategic plan.
Requirements:
- Basic medical qualification (e.g. MBBS, MBChB, etc.)
- Experience and competence in clinical haematology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
