We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Specialist to provide exceptional care and expertise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within our NHS hospitals. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality clinical care within the specialty area, managing inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Participate in the delivery of clinical teaching, training junior doctors and medical students.
  • Offer on-call services and cover emergency shifts as required.
  • Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of clinical services within the Trust.
  • Work in collaboration with nursing, allied health professionals, and other specialties to deliver integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to NHS standards and data protection guidelines.
  • Participate in audit, research, and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Medical Degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) – Essential
  • Full Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) – Essential
  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in relevant specialty or CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) – Essential
  • Full inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register in [Specialty] – Essential
  • Evidence of teaching, supervision, and mentoring of junior doctors and other staff.
