Overview of the Gynaecology Assessment Unit Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology as a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the Gynaecology Assessment Unit, working closely with the team to provide exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop skills and knowledge in early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology through further training and professional development.
  • Contribute to the effective and efficient running of the Gynaecology Assessment Unit, working collaboratively with the team to achieve excellence in patient care.
  • Participate in cervical screening training and other relevant post-specific training.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways.
