Position Overview

This role entails providing comprehensive operational support to the management team, ensuring that key performance indicators related to clinical, activity, and financial objectives are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee various projects within the service, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Act as a deputy for the manager during periods of absence, representing the team in meetings and decision-making processes.
  • Supervise a team of administrative personnel, ensuring effective management across multiple locations.
  • Maintain flexibility to undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the line manager.

Operational Management

Take charge of the management and execution of all service-related clinics, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and staff. Regularly assess performance metrics, including waiting lists and clinical outcomes, to identify areas for enhancement.

Ensure that the service maintains a professional and efficient contact point for clients, managing staff resources to guarantee adequate coverage.

Propose and implement innovative processes to enhance service delivery, while ensuring that all communications are current and effectively presented.

Staff Management and Development

Provide operational leadership and daily oversight for administrative staff, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and training initiatives.

Conduct regular meetings with the administrative team to foster communication and development.

Financial Oversight

Authorize expenditures in line with established business protocols and contribute to the efficient management of departmental resources.

Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including data protection and health and safety regulations.
