Job Summary:
CitySprint is seeking a highly skilled Operations Controller to join our team in Plymouth on a permanent basis. As an Operations Controller, you will play a critical role in supporting the control and operations of our Service Centre, ensuring a high level of customer service from booking to completion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Allocate work to couriers in a fair and transparent manner.
- Take bookings accurately and advise clients of our services.
- Monitor jobs through to POD and completion with priority on platinum customers.
- Implement and maintain Service Level Agreements (both customer and service centre specific).
- Proactively keep clients and fellow employees informed of any delays or issues.
- Ensure your fleet size is sufficient to service your clients particularly during peak periods – maintain levels and recruit when required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Managing and exceeding customer expectations.
- Acting on your own initiative without constant supervision.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, couriers and suppliers and remain professional at all times.
- Be highly organized.
- Previous transportation industry experience.
- Solid geographical knowledge.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance.
- Computer literate.
Requirements:
- DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
- Conditional job offers subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
