Position Overview:

As a Project Coordination Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the strategic initiatives of the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the planning, execution, and oversight of interdisciplinary projects, ensuring they align with the overarching goals of the company. You will facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders, ensuring that project timelines are adhered to and resources are utilized efficiently.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree

Compensation: $50 per hour on W2

Responsibilities:

Project Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, meeting notes, and relevant records.
  • Prepare summaries and materials to communicate effectively with stakeholders, utilizing data analysis to enhance clarity.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and progress reports for leadership, including dashboards and presentations.
  • Present project updates at management meetings.

Progress Monitoring:

  • Support leadership in managing strategic projects, breaking down complex problems into manageable milestones.
  • Provide operational support to various committees and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop project plans, assign resources, and establish timelines.
  • Lead productive project meetings to facilitate decision-making.

Project Analysis:

  • Identify and monitor potential risks and issues that may affect project success.
  • Work with teams to develop mitigation strategies for high-risk issues.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
  • Assist in managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.

Budget Development:

  • Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are assigned and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure projects have standardized documentation, including charters and budgets.

Best Practices Research:

  • Develop project management standard operating procedures based on established policies.
  • Create standardized templates and training materials for project managers.
  • Establish project tracking processes and workflows.
  • Coordinate with other programs to share best practices.

Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication across teams to align plans and priorities.
