About the Client Solutions Team The Client Solutions team operates within our Customer Experience (CX) division, which is part of our Sales organization. This team serves as a key point of contact for clients and potential clients who have inquiries related to the Preqin platform or the broader company. Our global team, located in various offices, provides support to clients around the clock, addressing a significant volume of inquiries from a diverse clientele. Job Overview The main goal of our team is to address client inquiries promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. We leverage our extensive knowledge of the alternatives sector and the Preqin platform, collaborating with our research and technology teams when necessary. Inquiries may come directly from clients or through our Sales team, and you will engage with clients from various regions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Address incoming client requests, often coordinating with internal teams such as research, sales, product, and engineering, while also resolving issues independently.
  • Provide real-time responses to client queries via chat, utilizing screenshots or guiding clients through solutions over the phone.
  • Gain an understanding of client use cases for the Preqin platform and offer guidance on accessing relevant data and information.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance client knowledge of the Preqin platform through virtual meetings.
  • Proactively reach out to clients via phone and email to ensure they are effectively utilizing the platform.
  • Handle inbound calls to qualify leads that require further information for the sales team.
  • Support and promote sales and marketing initiatives as needed.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with financial professionals and convey complex information clearly, both in writing and verbally.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing incoming queries.
  • A curious mindset, eager to understand the underlying reasons for issues.
  • A self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic learning environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including skills in vlookups, pivot tables, and data presentation.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in client support.
  • Comfort with working towards key performance indicators related to response times and client satisfaction.
  • Experience in customer support or client relations, particularly in a client-facing role.
  • Confidence in communicating with sales, research, technical teams, and management.
  • Familiarity with business applications such as Salesforce and custom CRM systems.
