Position Overview

Hire STEM Women is seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Coordinator to enhance our team. Our coordinators are committed to exceptional service, promoting our mission of diversity in the STEM fields. About Hire STEM Women

Hire STEM Women is a recruitment platform dedicated to connecting individuals with opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our focus is on promoting diversity and equipping students with the necessary resources to secure roles in STEM fields.

This position provides recruitment support across various sectors, with the successful candidate reporting to the CEO and senior leadership while collaborating with broader teams. The initial training period will last three weeks, guided by an experienced recruitment assistant who will introduce you to our data management and best practices in recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in high-profile diversity initiatives
  • Coordinate programs and manage the events calendar
  • Serve as the primary contact for inquiries from students and partners
  • Assist in creating digital content and delivering presentations
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Hire STEM Women
  • Oversee the Campus Ambassador program and university relationships
  • Collaborate with external organizations to build connections with students
  • Manage internship and graduate programs
  • Expand Hire STEM Women's candidate and employer partnerships
  • Participate in coaching activities as needed (training provided)
  • Utilize online recruitment tools to enhance our platform
  • Work with European partners on various recruitment projects
  • Contribute to business development efforts
  • Focus on recruitment across early, mid, and senior career levels
  • Perform administrative tasks and engage in other key projects

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills, including listening, questioning, and both written and verbal abilities
  • Strong work ethic and telephone etiquette
  • Excellent organizational capabilities
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently; proactivity is crucial
  • Attention to detail and a client-focused mindset
  • Understanding of recruitment and diversity within STEM (3 – 6 months of relevant experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive equivalents

Additional Information:

  • Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week
