Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth within the Midlands territory, a historically successful region.
  • Target End User clients in the sewer industry, including Local Government, Contractors, and Utility Companies.
  • Engage in a solution-oriented sales approach, providing customized solutions to effectively address client challenges.
  • Enhance sales through client visits and product demonstrations throughout the Midlands.
  • Establish, nurture, and manage relationships with both new and existing clients and distributor partners.
  • Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations to deliver value-added sales solutions.
  • Provide expert training and guidance to clients to uphold high customer service standards.
  • Identify market opportunities through competitor analysis, market research, and networking.
  • Collaborate closely with sales partners to cross-sell products.
  • Develop an effective call plan to optimize sales across a large territory.
  • Work in conjunction with the UK Sales Manager to provide accurate sales forecasts for the region.

Qualifications:

  • Higher Education in a mechanical engineering discipline, though relevant industry experience will also be considered.
  • A proven history of exceeding sales targets within the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
  • A strong solution-oriented sales professional capable of representing a premium manufacturer.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to meeting and surpassing sales objectives.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Midlands region, including occasional overnight stays.
