Project Administrator

Up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Working Hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.

A prominent manufacturer specializing in high-value engineered products for diverse clients across the UK and Europe is seeking to appoint a Project Administrator to enhance their project management team.

The organization is on a growth trajectory and is expanding its workforce to align with future objectives.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic company, where you will assist the project team currently managing over 25 active projects of varying durations, focusing on all aspects of administration and coordination.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general project support to a field-based team.
  • Process and oversee project orders.
  • Monitor and follow up on project task completion daily.
  • Track and report on key stage progress while updating the master project plan.
  • Attend project meetings and offer administrative support.
  • Manage the logistics of project materials for design and testing.
  • Oversee the completion and updates of project risk assessments.
  • Coordinate logistics for importing equipment.
  • Compile and verify the completion of necessary project documentation, including documenting and actioning any changes to orders.
  • Manage drawing control and maintain the technical register.
  • Conduct post-project performance and cost analysis.
  • Schedule and organize project debriefs.
  • Act as a superuser of the in-house project management system.
  • Manage stock lists and audit movements.
  • Collaborate with the Service Coordinator regarding project resources.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for project team members.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar project support or sales role.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize effectively while managing personal workload.
  • Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with complex capital projects is advantageous.
  • Background in a Technical, Engineering, or Manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management systems is beneficial.
