A prominent Manufacturer specializing in high-value engineered solutions for a diverse clientele across the UK and Europe is seeking to appoint a Project Coordinator to enhance their project management team.
This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization where you will assist the project team currently managing over 25 active projects of varying durations, focusing on all aspects of administration and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and oversee project orders
- Conduct daily monitoring and follow-up on project task completion
- Track and report on critical stage progress while updating the master project schedule
- Participate in project meetings and provide administrative assistance
- Manage the logistics of project materials for design and testing
- Oversee the completion and updates of project risk assessments
- Compile and verify the completion of necessary project documentation, including recording and implementing any changes to orders
- Analyze post-project performance and costs
- Organize and schedule project debrief sessions
- Act as a superuser for the in-house project management system
- Coordinate with the Service Coordinator regarding project resources
- Arrange travel and accommodation for project team members
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar project support or sales role
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning capabilities
- Proficient in IT, with solid skills in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with complex capital projects is advantageous
- Experience with project management systems is a plus
