Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Project Engineer with expertise in building construction and rail infrastructure to become a vital part of the company’s dynamic team in Brisbane. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and track project completion to ensure that program, budget, quality, environmental, and contractual obligations are met safely.
  • Evaluate design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements, and job safety analyses.
  • Effectively delegate tasks to project team members, ensuring deliverables meet specified standards.
  • Monitor KPIs and productivity against program and budget, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Guide and mentor Project, Site, and Graduate Engineers to support their professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in building construction, particularly in infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders for project approvals and permits.
