Job Description

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Construction Engineers to lead Work Packs and work collaboratively with our clients and partners to grow, manage, and motivate teams through the implementation of best practices on new build projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct constructability reviews of client-provided engineering to ensure spatial conformity for installation and collaborate with clients to find mutually agreed outcomes.
  • Support the development of construction estimates and delivery schedules in Stage 1 to set up successful delivery of work packages in Stage 2.
  • Partner with the project supply chain and 3rd party contractors to ensure project deliverables and KPIs are achieved.
  • Provide direction to engineers and subcontractors to ensure construction tasks are completed in line with business operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Coordinate and lead construction reviews with various project stakeholders.
  • Manage relevant construction delivery documentation, including work instructions, RAMS, and installation sequencing.
  • Maintain the construction and delivery schedule to ensure successful delivery of work packages.

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction installation of safety-related structures, systems, and components operating within a hazardous safety-critical environment.
  • Knowledge of industrial plant and processes, including HVAC, piping, and mechanical equipment, as well as various service systems and EC&I equipment integration.
  • Ability to collaborate with numerous third-party stakeholders to develop, liaise, and safely deliver high-quality construction work on schedule and on budget.
