We are seeking a Senior Construction Planner to join our Project Controls team, focusing on significant construction initiatives across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Planner will collaborate with our Project Controls team on prominent defense projects, providing essential performance reporting and analytical support. This role may involve working within a large team or serving as the primary day-to-day liaison with clients.
Core duties include:
- Collaborating with cost and planning engineers to establish work breakdown structures and performance baselines.
- Implementing progress and cost monitoring methodologies.
- Generating project control reports and delivering performance analysis along with actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Experience in a project controls environment, particularly within the defense or nuclear sectors.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following areas: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value Management (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls, or PMO.
A degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with substantial industry experience.
Familiarity with tools such as Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Excel, or PRISM (Cost Management System) is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with a commitment to adhering to documented processes and governance. Candidates should demonstrate innovative thinking to navigate the evolving project landscape.
