Job Overview: Client Relationship Manager

We are in search of a dedicated and dynamic Client Relationship Manager to oversee and enhance advertising revenues for DC Thomson across a variety of platforms including Digital, Print, and Radio. Your role will also involve multimedia sales to both new and existing clients.

Our media brands include The Stylist Group, Puzzler Media, and various communities focused on energy, local and national news, women's and children's publications, lifestyle, education, crafts, audio, and sports.

We seek a candidate who can proactively discover new business opportunities. You will be responsible for approaching potential clients, identifying areas for revenue generation, and maintaining excellent relationships with all clients. You will work towards achieving sales targets and collaborate with the entire advertising team to deliver results effectively and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

Cultivating and maintaining relationships with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across various sectors. Driving revenue growth within your territory by leveraging the DC Thomson portfolio to assist clients in achieving their objectives. Building essential internal and external relationships with local businesses and colleagues. Meeting and surpassing personal and team sales targets. Taking ownership of revenue responsibilities for existing accounts within your territory while identifying and engaging new clients.

Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Demonstrated experience in selling a diverse range of brands and products, with a talent for aligning these with client needs. Displays a positive, can-do attitude, along with excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong communication abilities, capable of effectively interacting with customers, team members, and stakeholders. Results-oriented, charismatic, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment. Self-driven with a robust entrepreneurial mindset.

This is a full-time, permanent role, requiring 35 hours of work per week. This position offers a hybrid working model, combining home and office work.
