Gynaecology Administrative Operations Leader

Position Overview
An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a driven professional to become a key member of the Gynaecology Administrative Team.
This role focuses on overseeing and enhancing the administrative operations that facilitate the booking and management of patients referred through the Urgent Suspected Cancer pathway, as well as those directed to Colposcopy services.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be tasked with:
- Providing comprehensive support to the Gynaecology Administrative team, as directed by the Patient Pathway Manager, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Administering patient pathways effectively, ensuring adherence to both local and national performance benchmarks.
- Leading and supervising administrative personnel, including performance monitoring and managing leave requests.
- Ensuring that all administrative tasks are executed to the highest standards, meeting both local and national targets.
- Conducting regular reviews of administrative processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance service delivery.
- Facilitating effective communication within the team through regular meetings and collaborative initiatives.
- Managing the recruitment and onboarding processes for new administrative staff, including preparing job descriptions and conducting interviews.
- Overseeing the maintenance of accurate patient waiting lists and ensuring timely updates are made in accordance with clinical priorities.
- Contributing to departmental projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and patient experience.
