About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unreal Engine Artist to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. as a key member of our creative team. As a Senior Cinematic Artist, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality cinematic sequences that bring our story-driven 'Dark Horror Narrative Adventure' to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cinematic Sequence Creation: Utilize your expertise in cinematography, camera animation, and editing to build captivating cinematic sequences that immerse players in our game world.
  • Pipeline Development: Collaborate with the cinematic team to establish and drive pipelines, processes, and methodologies that ensure seamless project execution.
  • Task Planning and Prioritization: Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality cinematic sequences that meet our project's standards.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Work closely with team members to resolve technical challenges and push project quality to new heights.
  • Portfolio Requirements: Showcase a portfolio that demonstrates your visual storytelling and cinematography skills, focusing on framing, shot selection, scene composition, camera animation, and editing.
  • Technical Requirements: Possess a strong working knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 Sequencer, MotionBuilder, Maya, or equivalent 3D programs, as well as experience with Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software.
  • Cinematic Storytelling Principles: Demonstrate a deep understanding of cinematic storytelling principles, cinematic language, literacy, and visual storytelling theory in an interactive medium.
  • Excellent Framing and Animation Skills: Possess excellent framing and animation skills for cinematic cameras.
