We are in search of a skilled Technical Artist who can seamlessly integrate into our team, contributing to the creation of groundbreaking gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of shader development and post-processing techniques. A solid background in Unreal Engine and proficiency in Maya will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit strong and adaptable skills in Rigging and Skinning
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within the art pipeline
  • Provide optimization recommendations for various artistic elements in games
  • Develop and refine material shaders and blueprints
  • Collaborate closely with both coding and artistic teams
  • Engage in constructive critique and iterative processes
  • Adhere to and replicate established artistic styles
  • Demonstrate a reliable understanding of platform technology, asset management, and pipeline workflows

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in creating and optimizing shaders
  • A minimum of one year in a similar position
  • Creative mindset with self-motivation
  • Strong and versatile skills in Visual Effects (VFX)
  • Mandatory experience with Unreal Engine
  • Familiarity with Maya software
  • Exceptional focus on quality
  • Experience with Blueprints
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication abilities
  • Artistic education at a graduate level or equivalent
  • A robust portfolio showcasing shader work

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with iterative development and rapid gameplay prototyping
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5
  • Experience in console game development
  • Lighting expertise
  • Knowledge of Houdini software
