We are in search of a Technical Artist who can seamlessly integrate into our team, contributing to the creation of groundbreaking gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of shader creation and post-processing techniques, along with proven expertise in Unreal Engine and Maya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit strong and adaptable skills in Rigging and Skinning
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within the art pipeline, offering effective solutions
  • Provide optimization recommendations for various artistic elements within the game
  • Develop and refine material shaders and blueprints
  • Collaborate closely with both coding and artistic teams
  • Engage in constructive critique and iterative processes within a team setting
  • Adhere to and replicate established artistic styles
  • Demonstrate proficiency in platform technology, asset management, and pipeline workflows

Qualifications

  • Experience in creating and optimizing shaders
  • A minimum of one year in a similar position
  • Self-motivated with a creative mindset
  • Strong and versatile skills in Visual Effects (VFX)
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine is essential
  • Familiarity with Maya
  • High attention to quality
  • Experience with Blueprints
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication abilities
  • A degree in a relevant artistic field
  • A robust portfolio showcasing shader work

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with iterative development and rapid gameplay prototyping
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5
  • Experience in console game development
  • Lighting expertise
  • Knowledge of Houdini
