We are in search of a skilled Technical Artist who can seamlessly integrate into our team, contributing to the creation of groundbreaking gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in shader development and post-processing techniques, with a strong background in Unreal Engine and Maya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate robust and adaptable skills in Rigging and Skinning
  • Identify and resolve issues within the art pipeline, providing effective solutions
  • Offer optimization recommendations across all artistic elements of game development
  • Design and refine material shaders and blueprints
  • Collaborate closely with both coding and artistic teams
  • Engage in constructive critique and iterative processes
  • Adhere to and replicate established artistic styles
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of platform technology, asset management, and pipeline workflows

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in creating and optimizing shaders
  • A minimum of one year in a similar role
  • Self-motivated with a creative mindset
  • Strong and versatile skills in Visual Effects (VFX)
  • Expertise in Unreal Engine is essential
  • Proficiency in Maya
  • High attention to quality
  • Experience with Blueprints
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication abilities
  • Artistic education at a graduate level or equivalent
  • A strong portfolio showcasing shader work

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with iterative development and rapid gameplay prototyping
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5
  • Experience in console game development
  • Lighting expertise
  • Knowledge of Houdini
