Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Artist to join our team, contributing to the creation of innovative gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of shaders and post-processing techniques, with expertise in Unreal Engine and Maya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-quality visual effects and shaders
  • Collaborate with the art and code teams to ensure seamless integration of assets and code
  • Optimize art pipeline and provide solutions for troubleshooting
  • Create and optimize material shaders and blueprints
  • Work closely with the team to critique and iterate on art styles
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of platform technology, asset discipline, and pipeline processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience in creating and optimizing shaders
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role
  • Creative and self-motivated individual with a strong passion for game development
  • Strong and versatile VFX skills
  • Experience with Unreal Engine and Maya
  • Extremely quality-oriented with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • An artistic education to at least graduate level
  • Strong portfolio showcasing examples of shader work

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with iterative development and rapid game prototyping
  • Unreal Engine 5 experience
  • Console development experience
  • Lighting skills
  • Houdini knowledge
