About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cinematic Artist to join our team at PARK Senior Villas Chandler. As a Senior Cinematic Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cinematic sequences for our AAA project, a story-driven 'Dark Horror Narrative Adventure'.

This is an ambitious project that requires a strong focus on atmosphere, storytelling, player agency, and immersion into ground-breaking territory on next-generation hardware technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cinematic Sequence Creation: Build high-quality cinematic sequences through your use of cinematography, camera animation, and editing skills.
  • Pipeline Development: Independently maintain and develop the cinematics in a highly iterative environment, establishing and driving pipelines, processes, and methodologies across the cinematic teams.
  • Task Planning and Prioritization: Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and to desired quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to resolve technical challenges and push project quality.
  • Mentorship and Training: Supervise more junior members of the team and coach them to success through reviews and mentorship.
Requirements
  • Cinematic Artist Experience: An experienced Cinematic Artist with a portfolio that showcases examples of visual storytelling and cinematography skills, focusing on framing, shot selection, scene composition, camera animation, and editing.
  • Technical Skills: A great working knowledge of Unreal engine 5 sequencer, MotionBuilder, Maya, or other equivalent 3D programs, as well as a deep understanding of cinematic storytelling principles, cinematic language, literacy, and visual storytelling theory in an interactive medium.
  • Team Collaboration and Problem-Solving: An exceptional team collaborator and someone who can take the initiative in problem-solving for the cinematics team, with excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Video Editing Software: Experience with Adobe Premiere or other similar video editing software.
  • Unreal Engine Tools: Experience with Unreal 5 blueprints and other Unreal tools.
  • Lighting and Editing: Experience with lighting and editing.
