Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cinematic Artist to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. as part of a major AAA project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cinematic storytelling, visual effects, and game development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cinematic Sequence Creation: Design and implement high-quality cinematic sequences for our AAA game, utilizing advanced cinematography, camera animation, and editing techniques.
  • Pipeline Development: Collaborate with the team to establish and drive cinematic pipelines, processes, and methodologies, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and growth.
  • Project Management: Plan and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and deliverables, working closely with the project lead and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest cinematic tools, technologies, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in our game.
Requirements:
  • Cinematic Experience: Proven track record of creating high-quality cinematic sequences for games or other interactive media.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 Sequencer, MotionBuilder, Maya, or other equivalent 3D programs, as well as experience with Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software.
  • Storytelling Ability: Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling principles, visual storytelling theory, and the ability to apply these skills to create engaging and immersive experiences.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive results-oriented solutions.
