About the Role

Firesprite is a pioneering game development studio that creates immersive and engaging experiences for players. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Cinematic Artist to join our team and contribute to the development of our next-generation game.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality cinematic sequences that bring our game's story to life.
  • Collaborate with the Cinematography Director and team members to develop cinematics from previs to final production.
  • Develop and maintain the cinematics pipeline, ensuring efficient and effective workflows.
  • Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Work closely with the game development team to ensure seamless integration of cinematics into the game.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Cinematic Artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling and cinematography skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 Sequencer, MotionBuilder, Maya, or other equivalent 3D programs.
  • Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling principles, cinematic language, literacy, and visual storytelling theory in an interactive medium.
  • Excellent framing and animation skills for cinematic cameras.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere or other similar video editing software.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5 Blueprints and other Unreal tools.
  • Experience with lighting and editing.
