About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unreal Engine Artist to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. as a key member of our creative team. As a Senior Cinematic Artist, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality cinematic sequences that bring our story-driven 'Dark Horror Narrative Adventure' to life.

This is an ambitious, AAA project that requires a deep understanding of cinematic storytelling principles, visual storytelling theory, and interactive medium. You will work closely with our team to establish and drive the pipelines, processes, and methodologies across the cinematic teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build high-quality cinematic sequences using cinematography, camera animation, and editing skills.
  • Develop and implement visual storytelling strategies to enhance the player's experience.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve technical challenges and push project quality.
  • Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality cinematic content.
  • Train and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cinematic storytelling, visual effects, and 3D animation.
  • Expertise in Unreal Engine 5 sequencer, MotionBuilder, Maya, or other equivalent 3D programs.
  • Strong understanding of cinematic language, literacy, and visual storytelling theory.
  • Excellent framing and animation skills for cinematic cameras.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere or other similar video editing software.
