Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Support Officer to join our dynamic team at NHS England. As a key member of our workforce, training and education (WT&E) team, you will provide a broad range of business and administrative support across the Thames Valley and South East region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate workstream and team functions, ensuring seamless delivery of work programmes.
  • Monitor progress against delivery of work programmes and administer financial processes.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to support the General Practice training programme.
  • Undertake a variety of tasks, including project coordination, risk management, and data protection.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and multitask.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and coordinating projects in complex environments.
  • Knowledge of financial systems, data protection, and information governance.
  • Education to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level qualification.
