About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Support Officer to join our team at Chilterns National Landscape. As a key member of our Mend the Gap team, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our programme, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective project management support to the Mend the Gap Programme, including coordinating meetings, managing documentation, and maintaining records.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with grant recipients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programme strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials, ensuring high-quality output and attention to detail.
  • Support the team in achieving programme objectives, including monitoring progress, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a project support or administrative role, preferably in a conservation or environmental context.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
