About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Support Officer to join our Digital Programme team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects that underpin the Trust's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Digital Programme team, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Support the Senior Programme Manager and Project Managers in the department, including providing minute-taking services and maintaining accurate records of decisions made at meetings.
  • Collaborate with front-line staff to ensure the successful adoption of digital solutions and related end-to-end system workflows.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Programme Office duties, Change and Configuration Control, and general knowledge of aspects of solutions and related end-to-end system workflows.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 A levels Grade C or above or equivalent work experience, or NVQ's.
  • Prior experience working in the NHS and a general understanding of patient pathways.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Project.
  • Internal applicants must evidence completion of Mandatory Training.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of practical delivery of Front Line End User Adoption Support.
  • General knowledge of system Test, Delivery, and Adoption, particularly in projects involving electronic systems in a healthcare organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Numerate with good literacy skills and the ability to produce formal reports.
Working Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability. The role will involve working with a range of stakeholders, including front-line staff, project managers, and senior leaders.
