Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the smooth operation of the Management offices by delivering comprehensive administrative and personal support services. This includes managing schedules, organizing meetings, and executing a variety of tasks that encompass a wide range of responsibilities.

Key Qualifications

  • HNC/SVQIII in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in a Management Secretary role
  • Proficiency in various software applications
  • Advanced typing skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • High level of confidentiality, tact, and discretion

Preferred Skills

  • Relevant experience within the NHS in an administrative capacity
  • Knowledge of SSTS Reports
  • Experience coordinating schedules for senior staff
  • Daily diary management capabilities
  • Effective team collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including minute-taking and effective interaction with a diverse range of individuals
  • Flexibility in working hours

Employment Type

This is a full-time, fixed-term position.

Work Environment

The role will be situated within the Management Team, with the working pattern to be discussed during the interview process.
