The Position

This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Management offices by delivering a thorough personal secretarial and administrative support service. Responsibilities include comprehensive secretarial assistance, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and various other tasks across a wide range of duties.

What We Expect From You
  • Relevant qualifications such as HNC/SVQIII in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in a Management Secretary role
  • Proficiency in various software applications
  • Advanced typing skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Maintaining confidentiality, tact, diplomacy, and discretion
Additional Skills That Would Be Beneficial
  • Experience within the NHS in an administrative or secretarial capacity
  • Knowledge of SSTS Reports
  • Capability to coordinate schedules for senior personnel
  • Expertise in daily diary management
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including minute-taking and effective interaction with diverse individuals

Contract Details

This is a full-time position with a fixed-term contract.

Location and Work Schedule

The position will be part of the Management Team.

The work schedule can be discussed during the interview process.
