The Position

The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the Catering team, responsible for providing a variety of food and beverage services while adhering to Food Hygiene regulations and NHS Scotland policies. This role is essential in ensuring the nutritional requirements of patients, staff, and users of NHS Scotland services are met. Additionally, the candidate will assist in training and mentoring new team members within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding catering standards and related protocols.
  • Participating in on-the-job training to achieve proficiency in various tasks.
  • Applying knowledge of Health & Safety practices, including risk assessments for specific duties.
  • Completing mandatory NHS Scotland training.
  • Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Executing assigned tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Obtaining the Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate as required.

Employment Details
  • Type of Contract: Permanent
  • Work Schedule: Part Time
  • Hours: 30 hours per week

Please note that this is a part-time position, and the salary will be adjusted accordingly.
