We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join our team at Albert Bartlett, a leading food business in the UK. As a Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Chilled Food Manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of production staff to achieve production targets and departmental KPIs.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve quality, food safety, health and safety, service level, and labour performance.
- Conduct team briefings, provide on-line coaching, and resolve problems to ensure team performance and productivity.
- Identify and manage high performers, and develop and implement performance management plans for underperforming team members.
- Manage people-related activities, including recruitment, absence management, disciplinary procedures, performance reviews, training, and development.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a similar environment, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
