The Position

The primary objective of this role is to facilitate the smooth and effective operation of the Management offices by delivering a thorough personal secretarial and administrative support service. This includes providing secretarial assistance, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and performing a variety of other responsibilities across the full spectrum of duties.

Key Qualifications
  • HNC/SVQIII in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in a Management Secretary role
  • Proficient in various software applications
  • Advanced typing skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • High level of confidentiality, tact, diplomacy, and discretion
Preferred Skills
  • Experience within the NHS in an administrative or secretarial capacity
  • Knowledge of SSTS Reports
  • Capability to coordinate schedules for senior personnel
  • Experience in daily diary management
  • Effective team collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload in alignment with organizational goals
  • Attention to detail and capacity to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including minute-taking and effective interaction with a diverse range of individuals
  • Flexibility in working hours
Contract Details

This is a full-time fixed-term position.

Working hours are to be determined and can be discussed during the interview process.
